Now that you have identified life as a daily grind, how do you replenish the energy necessary to accomplish your goals?
About five years ago, I began posting daily videos first thing in the morning. I call these videos "Mental Breakfast." The purpose was to start my day and yours, with a motivational thought that will hopefully begin our day on a positive note. Besides, they say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day! Personally, posting these videos was much needed. At that stage of my life, I was transitioning from one chapter of my life and had finally built the courage to leave a job that was mentally draining and step into a career that matched my purpose and passion. (Oh, if you don't know the difference between a job and a career or what I mean by being mentally drained...stop, go check out my previous blog, then come back.) For those still here, "Mental Breakfast" was one of the ways I prepared myself for my daily grind.
Yes, people watched and continue to watch the videos and I'm blessed to say that the videos provided the positivity they needed to jump start their day, but I received that same positive energy because whenever we speak, we're the first to hear our thoughts. So, when you speak positive words into the atmosphere, it's a win-win for everyone! No matter what chapter of your life you're in, whether you are working at a job or found your career, whether you're tired or drained, searching for your peace or protecting your peace, every day is and will be a daily grind that requires a morning routine that prepares you for the unpredictable roller coaster of life. So, my question for you is how do you begin your day?
